Wherever people are exposed to immediate hazards and risks to life and limb in the course of their professional activities, elements for personal protection should be used. Accordingly, the term "personal protective equipment (PPE)" covers all elements that serve to protect the person during your activities. These are e.g. protective gloves, protective helmets, protective goggles, ear protection, X-ray aprons etc.

The subject of PPE is given additional weight when working at height or depth. The PPE and the correct, professional handling of it is the central element for mastering dangerous situations without risk. Accordingly, PPE is used to prevent falls from a height by persons who are professionally or commercially confronted with tasks at height or depth: These are, for example, fitters, service specialists, fire brigades, special police units, height rescue trains, mine rescuers, etc.

For persons who perform such activities, we offer together with our partners appropriate training courses for the safe and professional handling of "Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)" in basic courses or refresher courses. Behaviour patterns and "handles that sit" give employees the certainty that they can safely master their professional challenges and do the "right thing" in stressful situations.

For manufacturers of "PPE" products, this means a special responsibility during production and ensuring that the "PPE" is in perfect condition when they place the products on the market. Strict legal regulations form the guidelines to be observed for the production, sale and use of the "PPE". This applies of course to all products that we manufacture ourselves and supply through our partners.
The same legal regulations also apply to the mere "placing on the market" of PPE against falls from a height. All persons and/or companies that provide, lend or hire out PPE to third parties must demonstrate the same sense of responsibility for the material used and the functionality of the PPE.

The inspection of the PPE material, maintenance and checking of the complete functionality of "PPE against falls from a height" is carried out at the customer's premises at annual intervals and must be carried out by specially trained and qualified persons, the so-called "Expert for personal protective equipment against falls from a height".

Together with our partners, we train employees of our customers as "experts for personal protective equipment (PPE) against falls from a height". By adhering to the annual inspection times, the customers/companies thus ensure in-house that the legal requirements are fully complied with.
