DGUV Basic course 198/199 1 Event
Training courses in accordance with the regulations of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV)
Regulations on the use of PPE against falls from a height (PSAgA) apply to all persons who regularly or even occasionally work on workplaces at heights in areas where there is a risk of falling. In order to avoid accidents, employees must always be instructed in accordance with §12 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG). DGUV Rule 112-198 ("Use of personal protective equipment against falls from a height") and DGUV Rule 112-199 ("Use of personal protective equipment for rescue from heights and depths") provide more specific requirements.
User training is compulsory before the first use and in the further course of use, appropriate instruction must be given at least once a year.
The training takes into account the required training content for the safe use of PPE against falls from a height. Within the scope of this training, the participants gain extensive knowledge of the relevant state and trade association regulations as well as the generally recognised rules of technology. The training focuses on the practical application of various protection systems at height.

Working in containers, silos and confined spaces poses a high safety risk for the employees concerned and is one of the most dangerous activities of all. The limited size of the space, the use of forced postures during work and the difficulty of escaping additionally increase existing hazards. This is why accidents that occur during work in confined spaces and containers, such as suffocation, explosions or electrical accidents, unfortunately often end fatally. As a result, it is imperative that work in confined spaces is not started until the employer or the person in charge has taken all necessary protective measures and issued the permit. It is a prerequisite that the risk assessment for instructing those affected is taken into account. In our training, all potential hazards when driving into containers, silos and confined spaces are analysed and necessary preventive and safety measures are presented in accordance with the current state of the art and technology. Practical examples illustrate the theoretical explanations.
