3.1 When is an infection with Covid suspected?
- Individuals with acute respiratory (shortness of breath, pain, muscle weakness, fatigue, cognitive impairment, headache, cough, fever) symptoms or nonspecific general symptoms.
- Contact with a person tested positive max. up to 14 days before onset of disease
- Acute respiratory symptoms of any severity, even if there has been no contact with a person who has tested positive:
- For this, belonging to a risk group
- or without known risk factors
